Network Engineer

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching.

Familiarity with network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls; hands?on lab or classroom experience using Cisco, Juniper or similar.

Knowledge of wireless networking (WiFi), wired network installation, cabling, patch panels.

Experience (through internship / projects) troubleshooting network issues and diagnosing connectivity or performance problems.

Ability to monitor network performance, read logs, and escalate issues appropriately.

Some exposure to network security basics (VPNs, access control, firewall rules).

Strong communication skills: able to document network configurations, changes, and write up reports.

Certifications are a plus (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Juniper Associate).

US work authorization and willingness to work onsite or hybrid in NJ; sometimes on?call support or odd hours may be required.
