Jr Cyber Security

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or working toward one).

Some experience (internships, labs, class projects) with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing/switching).

Familiarity with operating systems: Windows and Linux (basic shell/command line skills).

Basic understanding of security tools: firewalls, antivirus/endpoint protection, intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning.

Exposure to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, or willingness to learn threat detection and incident response workflows.

Ability to write simple scripts (e.g. Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation or analysis.

Good problem?solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow processes and document findings.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to report security incidents/concerns to technical and non?technical teams.

Certifications desired: Security+ or equivalent; additional relevant ones are a plus.

Authorization to work in the US; background check; possibly local travel or hybrid working arrangement in New Jersey.
