Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and security-focused Cyber Security Engineer to help protect our organization’s systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, investigating incidents, and implementing security controls.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response. The candidate will work closely with IT and development teams to improve the organization’s overall security posture.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT security role.
• Strong understanding of network and information security concepts.
• Experience with security monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.
• Familiarity with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, attack techniques, and security best practices.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, encryption, and access-control concepts.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001 is an advantage.
• Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, or CISSP are preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
