Sr Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming expertise, knowledge of software architecture and design patterns, experience with APIs and databases, and hands-on experience building enterprise-level applications.

The candidate will collaborate with architects, product managers, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software solutions. This role also involves mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, improving application performance, and contributing to technical decisions and development best practices.

• master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5–10+ years of professional experience in software engineering or application development.

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C++.

• Advanced understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems.

• Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices, and application integration.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is preferred.

• Experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and version control workflows.

• Knowledge of software architecture principles, system design, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Familiarity with cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and application security.

• Strong technical leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
