Sr Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security solutions that protect enterprise systems, networks, applications, and sensitive data. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security, and security architecture.

The candidate will work closely with IT, network engineering, cloud, DevOps, and compliance teams to identify security risks, strengthen security controls, investigate threats, and ensure the organization's systems remain secure and compliant with industry standards.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security engineering, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of network security, endpoint security, application security, and security architecture.

• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.

• Experience with EDR/XDR tools, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and firewall technologies.

• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Tenable Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network segmentation.

• Experience with incident response, threat hunting, malware analysis, or digital forensics.

• Knowledge of identity and access management, MFA, SSO, and privileged access management.

• Experience securing cloud environments and managing cloud security controls.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.

• Knowledge of security risks, threat modeling, encryption, authentication, and access control.

• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
