Job Description

This is a remote position.

 

SQL developer/PowerShell scripter

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and higher: Experience maintaining complex database applications, ability to write and understand complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views and triggers
  • Thorough working knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts; Dimensional design, Star Schema models, time variant data, data analytics
  • Create detailed technical specification documents to include workflow and process flow diagrams with little or no supervision
  • Perform code reviews for other members of the team
  • Function as the senior developer on the team, mentoring and guiding fellow team members
Job Requirement
  • Proficient in all aspects of SQL development (create databases, transform and load data, query, setup front end web interface to render data and query results, reporting)
  • Expert at reporting on and manipulating settings using PowerShell on Windows servers, Active Directory and SQL
  • Self starter, problem solver, perpetual process improver, highly motivated, can work in a fast paced environment with deadlines and deliverables
  • Windows Platform Configuration management – able to report on misconfigurations for settings/attributes and fixing them using scripts
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, macros, Office scripts, Action Recorder, etc.)
  • Linux/UNIX/Oracle platform experience a plus
  • Automation experience a plusPowerAutomate experience is a plus
