ServiceNow Engineer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Engineer to design, develop, configure, implement, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, JavaScript, workflow automation, IT Service Management (ITSM), platform integrations, and application customization.

The candidate will collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, system administrators, and stakeholders to automate business processes, improve service delivery, integrate enterprise systems, and develop scalable ServiceNow solutions.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, engineering, or platform customization.

• Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and application development.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

• Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Familiarity with Flow Designer, workflows, approvals, and automation.

• Knowledge of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.

• Experience with Service Catalog configuration and service request automation.

• Understanding of tables, forms, lists, ACLs, roles, and platform security.

• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external applications using REST or SOAP APIs.

• Familiarity with CMDB, ITOM, Discovery, or Service Mapping is preferred.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow update sets, application deployment, and testing practices.

• Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
