ServiceNow Engineer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Engineer to develop, configure, customize, and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, JavaScript, scripting, workflows, integrations, and IT Service Management (ITSM).

The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders to automate business processes, improve service delivery, develop custom applications, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, engineering, or platform customization.

• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its application architecture.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

• Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

• Experience with Flow Designer, workflows, approvals, and process automation.

• Knowledge of ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.

• Experience working with CMDB, Service Catalog, and ServiceNow forms and tables.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and external system connectivity.

• Understanding of access controls, roles, ACLs, and platform security.

• Experience with update sets, application deployment, debugging, and testing.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
