ServiceNow Developer

ServiceNow Developer to develop, configure, customize, and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, IT Service Management (ITSM), workflow automation, and system integrations.

The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, platform administrators, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement efficient ServiceNow solutions. Responsibilities include developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, catalog items, and automated workflows.

The role may involve configuring ITSM modules, developing integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, creating reports and dashboards, managing access controls, and troubleshooting platform issues. The candidate should follow ServiceNow development best practices and support testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing platform improvements.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, or implementation.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow platform scripting.

• Experience with GlideRecord, GlideAjax, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.

• Knowledge of ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.

• Experience with Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and workflow automation.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP web services, and third-party integrations.

• Knowledge of tables, forms, lists, reports, dashboards, roles, and access controls.

• Experience with update sets, debugging, testing, and deployment.

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
