Job Description
Cognitech is looking for a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will work with technical and business teams to streamline workflows, improve IT service management processes, and deliver efficient technology solutions.
The role involves customizing ServiceNow applications, developing scripts and workflows, building integrations, managing service catalog items, and supporting ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Job Requirement
- 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or administration.
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ITSM modules.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Glide scripting.
- Experience developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Policies.
- Knowledge of Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and workflow automation.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST or SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of CMDB and IT service management processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development best practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS-ITSM are a plus.
