Primarily responsible for maintaining all core Microsoft Domain services, Office 365, Intune, and SCCM management. Review, revise, and where needed create/enforce all county Domain policies and procedures.
Duties within this job may be considered to be essential to the restoration of services outside of normal business hours. Individuals in this job are required to answer such calls. At that time, it is the individual’s responsibility to inform supervision if they are not capable of performing as directed.
- Manage network activities (e.g., network performance, task management, event administration, file and object access, network name resolution, file system security/integrity, etc.)
- Manage, maintain and monitor the county core Microsoft systems and services
- Manage Office 365 and Intune environments
- Administer user accounts, computer accounts and account policies
- Responsible for Windows operating systems and MS Backoffice standards, patches and hotfixes utilizing existing SCCM deployment
- Define standards and policies for management of remote users via VMWare and the VPN
- Maintain documentation of all network data connections and troubleshoot connectivity problems
- Responsible for remaining abreast of emerging technologies and product enhancements
- Maintain operating system of all Windows-based servers when required
- Perform scripting of network connections and software deployment
- Help maintain remote access accounts on SSL/VPN and outgoing SSH as well as VM Ware and VPN
- Perform other duties, tasks and special projects, as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft MCSA and Four years of job-related experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of county management.
- Accurate and detail-oriented.
- Easily adapts to changes in the work environment.
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidential information and handle confidential matters.

- A valid driver's license is required.
