Title:    R&D Technician

Description:

Capable of setting up benchtop, pilot plant experiments
2. Carry out physical and chemical characterization of fats and oils and products
3. Capable of managing product inventories, product entries, data entry, purchase orders
4. Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices
5. Accurate data entry, documentation, following the procedures is a must
6. Capable of interacting with other employees to independently identify and organize resources for conduct of experiments
7. Available for travelling to manufacturing sites to support trials when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Science degree. Experience in conducting experiments in science.
2. Excel/Word/MS Outlook - Microsoft product proficient
3. Good communication skills – oral and written (e.g. communication on telephone and internal to client)
4. Good organizational skills
5. Attention to detail
6. Works well in a team setting, working with QA/R&D work team on other aspects of project
7. Self-motivated
