Job Opening for Packaging and Inspection Lead for the Rocky Mount, NC area
We are currently working on below mentioned job opening i., e. Job Opening for Packaging and Inspection Lead for the Rocky Mount, NC area. Please let me know if you are interested in applying for the same.

The Packaging and Inspection Lead functions as part of the capital project team and will provide Engineering support on capital projects throughout the network. This position works directly with the various project design, construction, and startup teams. Responsibilities are to provide the technical program leadership and implementation of reliable energy efficient packaging systems. The Packaging Engineer also functions as an integral team member and Subject Matter Expert to support Master Planning & Capital Project budgeting. This position would be equally focused on driving the other critical objectives of Capital Project delivery, namely: safety, cost, cashflow accuracy, schedule certainty within the context of their specific scope of responsibility.

Objectives of this Role:
Lead capital projects on creating proven packaging solutions that are safe, sustainable, and reliable.
Act as a safety champion both by safety in design and field safety execution during construction and commissioning activities.
Provide input and review of all relevant specs and drawings for packaging and inspection systems on capital projects.
Provide input and review of equipment selection and 3-D coordination. Including adherence of A/E and contractor partners in successfully implementing the Project BIM execution strategy / model review procedures.
Assist with mass balance of the lines and support development of maintenance and operational procedures for packaging and inspection equipment.
Work with equipment vendors to reduce energy requirements.
Support Review of device, equipment and instrument turn-over package.
Participate in design reviews and HAZOPs.
Identify project risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans.
Lead the delivery of project packaging scope within budgeted values (both for equipment and for sub-contracts).
Provide support and guidance to project teams on installation and start-up.
Review of installation quality and workmanship of mechanical systems
Ensure relevant data is pre-agreed and provided to support EAMS build in line with project schedule needs.
Engage in vendor selection and driving best practice (one-best-way) delivery of start-up and verification activities.
Assist in the resolution and tracking of field issues and Request for Information (RFIs).
 

Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field.
9 years related experience in Process Engineering, Project Engineering, Operations.
Experience with packaging and inspection design in a 3D Model / BIM environment in a pharmaceutical environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations.
Professional Engineer license desired, but not required.
Experience with design and handling of high potent APIs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking required.  Ability to perform mathematical calculation and perform complex data analysis required.
