Network Engineer

Cognitech Technologies is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with network technologies and excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Work with security and IT teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Support incident management and provide timely resolution.
• Participate in network implementation and migration projects.
• Follow network security and infrastructure best practices.

• 3–5 years of experience in Network Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, VPN, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, STP, and EIGRP is preferred.
• Experience with firewalls and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Good understanding of enterprise networking environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• CCNA / CCNP
• CompTIA Network+
• Other relevant networking certifications are a plus.
