Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity.
The Network Engineer will work closely with IT, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to maintain network availability and resolve connectivity issues. The role also involves implementing network improvements, monitoring performance, maintaining documentation, and supporting network security.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Network Engineering or Network Administration.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches.
- Good knowledge of VLANs, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and ACLs.
- Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity and network performance issues.
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cloud networking on AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- CCNA/CCNP certification is preferred.
- Ability to respond to network incidents and resolve issues within defined timelines.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.
