Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

The York Casket Company, A Matthews International subsidiary, is seeking 3rd Shift Machine Operators (9:00PM-5:30AM) for our Production Facility in York, PA for our Memorialization business segment. We are looking for great people to help us process and build industry leading wood caskets. • Lots of advancement opportunities including supervision and management.
• You will be working with production supervisors and operating various hand and power tools and/or operating equipment to meet production schedules.
• Ensuring parts and assemblies meet production specifications.
• Performing end of shift cleaning and maintenance on equipment.
• You will have the opportunity to cross training in other departments and equipment.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Attention to detail and ability to read production documents
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
