Our team uses a variety of web technologies including Wordpress, PHP, HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, React.JS, ThreeJS, Magento, Angular, Amazon Web Services, MySQL. In addition, our team welcomes new ideas and different approaches, and we can pivot quickly when a better idea comes along. We're a small, highly collaborative group that loves to experiment. As a leader of this team, your input will be valued from ideation to implementation, and you will be able to define your own path to reach the goals the team sets together.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with design, art and development teams to build responsive web pages
• Use designs to develop validated HTML5/CSS3 code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Build code and libraries that are reusable for future use and optimized for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements:

• Strong familiarity with PHP
• Strong familiarity with database development in MySQL/Maria
• Ability to organize and refactor existing code
• Familiarity and interest in working with React & Node
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and core JavaScript concepts
• Needs to have well-developed back-end & front-end development skills

• Demonstrated understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability and mobile-first development

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience with fluid responsive web design
• Development experience with Php, javascript or jquery
  
• Knowledge/familiarity of Node, Git
  
• Understanding and/or experience with technologies such as: SASS, AJAX or Bootstrap
• Knowledge of on-site SEO best practices; experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager a plus
• Familiarity with Content Management systems such as Joomla, Wordpress, Sitecore, Drupal etc

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience with managing/leading a programming team
• Detail-oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organization skills
• 4+ years of experience in a web development role
• Experience with source control systems such as SVN, Git or Beanstalk.
• Self-motivated with the ability to flourish in a team environment, as well as work individually with minimum supervision
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to keep track of tasks, estimations and deadlines
• Enthusiasm for learning modern technologies
• Enjoy mentoring
