We are seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our onsite team in Harrisburg, PA. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals, including OPT EAD candidates, who are eager to build hands-on experience in software quality assurance. The tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and/or desktop applications
• Review requirements and design documents to understand expected functionality
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and basic integration testing
• Re-test defects and validate fixes
• Assist in test case creation, test data preparation, and test execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the SDLC
• Participate in daily stand-ups and QA review meetings
• Follow established QA processes and standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in software testing (internships count)
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Harrisburg, PA
