Junior Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer to assist with configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, and network security.

The candidate will work alongside senior network engineers and IT teams to support network operations, resolve connectivity issues, maintain network documentation, and ensure reliable network performance.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, network administration, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.

• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, and wireless networking.

• Basic knowledge of VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching concepts.

• Familiarity with Cisco networking devices or similar technologies is preferred.

• Basic troubleshooting skills for network connectivity and performance issues.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools is an advantage.

• Strong communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn new networking technologies and work with senior engineers.
