We are expanding our team for an Austin-based client! We are looking for a sharp, entry-level AI Engineer with a strong academic background and a passion for Machine Learning.
? Salary: $65,000 / Year
Education: Master’s Degree (Required - CS, Data Science, or AI focus)
Experience: 1 Year (Internships/Project experience counts!)
Location: Must be in the USA
?Key Requirements:
?Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
?Experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, or RAG frameworks.
?Solid understanding of data structures and ML algorithms.
?Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
?1. Technical Skills (The "Must-Haves")
?Programming: High proficiency in Python (the industry standard for AI). Familiarity with Java or C++ is a significant plus for backend integration.
?AI Frameworks: Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow for building and training neural networks.
?Generative AI & LLMs: Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex to build AI agents.
?Data Science Libraries: Mastery of NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn for data preprocessing and analysis.
?Cloud & Deployment: Basic knowledge of deploying models on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. Understanding of Docker for containerization.
?2. Educational Background
?Master’s Degree (Required): Must have a Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field (Mathematics/Statistics).
?Specialization: Preference for candidates with coursework or thesis projects focused on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).

?Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience or high-level internship experience specifically in an AI/ML role.
?Problem Solving: Ability to take a complex educational problem (like personalized learning paths) and translate it into a technical AI solution.
?Mathematical Foundation: Strong grasp of Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Probability, which are essential for debugging model performance.
