Jr Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer to assist with the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security, and network troubleshooting.

The candidate will work alongside senior network engineers and IT infrastructure teams to maintain reliable network connectivity, resolve technical issues, support network operations, and develop practical networking skills.

• Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, network administration, or a related role.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, IP addressing, and subnetting.

• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking.

• Understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs, and basic routing and switching.

• Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.

• Familiarity with network troubleshooting commands and diagnostic tools.

• Basic understanding of VPNs, access control lists, and network security.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn new networking technologies and work with senior engineers.
