Jr Network Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Network Engineer to assist with network installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network security.

The candidate will work alongside senior network engineers and IT teams to support network infrastructure, resolve connectivity issues, monitor network performance, and maintain reliable and secure network operations.

• master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, network administration, internships, or academic projects.

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN.

• Familiarity with IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.

• Basic knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

• Understanding of routing and switching fundamentals.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of network security and access control concepts.

• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and network performance issues.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn new networking technologies and work with senior engineers.
