Jr Data Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and data processing systems. The candidate should have foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, databases, and ETL/ELT processes. The role involves working with experienced engineers to collect, transform, validate, and manage data.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience. Academic projects and internships are welcome.

• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, or Scala.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Basic understanding of data modeling and data warehousing.

• Familiarity with Apache Spark or PySpark.

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Git, Airflow, or Databricks is a plus.

• Understanding of data validation and data quality.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
