Jr Data Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of Python, SQL, databases, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud technologies. The candidate will work with experienced engineers to collect, transform, validate, and manage data for analytics and business applications.

• Master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field. Academic projects and internships are welcome.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, SQL, or Scala.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline concepts.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

• Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and database management.

• Basic understanding of Apache Spark or PySpark.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Airflow, or Databricks is a plus.

• Understanding of data quality, data validation, and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
