Jr Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to support our security operations and infrastructure teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity concepts and an interest in security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security.

The candidate will work with experienced security professionals to monitor security events, investigate alerts, identify vulnerabilities, and help implement security controls.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, SOC, or a related area.
• Basic understanding of network security, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts and security event monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar is preferred.
• Understanding of vulnerability assessment and security scanning.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, IAM, MFA, and access controls.
• Familiarity with endpoint security and EDR concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud security concepts in AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
