Java J2ee Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications and services. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and software development best practices.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications.
• Develop scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Develop database queries, stored procedures, and data-access components using SQL.
• Work with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Debug applications and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Use Git for source-code management and collaborate with development teams.
• Build and manage applications using Maven or Gradle.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to system and API documentation.
• Collaborate with QA engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core Java.
• Experience with Java 8/11/17 or later.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and JUnit.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
