Java Developer

Cognitech is seeking skilled Java Developers to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Core Java, object-oriented programming, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and microservices architecture.

The candidate will work with development teams, software architects, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements, develop application features, integrate services, and deliver quality software solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean and reusable code, debugging application issues, improving performance, participating in code reviews, and supporting application deployment.

The role may involve developing backend services, integrating third-party systems, working with cloud platforms, and contributing to Agile development projects.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2–5+ years of experience in Java development.

• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, collections, and exception handling.

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
