Java Developer

Cognitech is looking for a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java and modern development frameworks.

The role involves building backend services, developing RESTful APIs, working with databases, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions. Candidates should be passionate about coding, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.

• 2–5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and data management.
• Familiarity with Git and software development tools.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
