Java Developer

Cognitech Technologies is looking for a talented Java Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, backend technologies, REST APIs, and database integration, with a passion for building scalable and reliable applications.

???? Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow development best practices.
• Participate in deployment and production support activities.

???? Required Skills

• 3–5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8+ and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of JUnit/Mockito and unit testing.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
