Job Description
Java Developer will maintain/enhance data flow and management tools for our client's interfaces with the Federal Agency. The major role involves development in the Java Spring framework along with web development for user interfaces. The developer will collaborate with current team members working for the client to create integrations into the existing system. Work will include translating requirements and prototypes to a secure, production-ready system. The Java Developer will report to the Project Manager and interact with client personnel.
Job Requirement
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience developing applications using Java, Spring, Web API, SOAP services, HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of secure coding practices, accessibility, and security compliance
- Expertise in web application authorization and authentication
- Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code
- Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture, and relational
- database design
- Must have front-end and back-end development experience
- Excellent communication skills
