Intern - Customer Quality Systems Engineer

As a CQE (Customer Quality Engineering) Systems Engineer within the Global Quality organization at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for working with the customer quality engineers and other internal engineering teams to develop and maintain tools for extracting, tracking, and summarizing Micron and customer data. These tools will be used to improve the overall efficiency of the CQE organization and enable better problem solving for customer-related issues as well as provide data from internal Micron teams back to the customer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enable better customer quality data gathering, analysis, tracking and reporting
• Create and maintain a variety of reports utilized by the CQE organization and other internal engineering teams
• Develop and maintain software systems for extracting and summarizing customer fail data and resolution to enable field teams to better resolve future issues
• Develop and maintain software systems for automatically summarizing and sharing Micron data with customers
• Enhance CQE system automation to improve efficiency and productivity across the organization

Qualifications:

• Software programming background
• Development experience in Excel services, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data reporting tools
• Basic web-page development/maintenance skills
• Solid presentation skills – verbal and written
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree with an emphasis on computer programming
