The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Industrial Inside Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Managing a complex customer relationship by understanding the customer’s business needs, working with key influencers in the organization, and enhancing the sales process
  • Driving growth within a specific geographic region
  • Performing work as a sales team member cultivating a working relationship with field sales reps in your assigned territory to promote a healthy team selling approach
  • Making a targeted amount of calls to increase 3M’s Industrial market share

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • One (1) year Sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Minimum of one (1) year working with abrasives, tapes, adhesives and personal safety products
  • Two (2)or more years Inside Sales experience
  • CRM and pipeline management experience
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to stay on tasks and maintain high productivity levels while working both in the office and remotely

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Relocation Assistance: Not Authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
