Full Stack Software Engineer

Bold Group is looking for a highly motivated full stack .NET C# developer to work closely with our development and support team in our legacy enterprise business management and financial platforms for the security industry.

Where:

Our office is in Chagrin Falls, OH. We are working remotely through the end of 2020, but prefer candidates who are already local to the Cleveland area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of industry experts to design and develop sophisticated software
• Work on creating new features on our existing enterprise platform
• Help drive customer success by debugging and maintaining our software

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience in Windows desktop development
• Excellent coding experience in C#.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

• Use best practices to document and write quality software. Focus on testing is extremely important

• Working knowledge of
  • Windows Forms applications
  • HTTP and RESTful services
  • Experience with SQL Stored Procedure
  • T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio
  • Unit Tests / TDD

• Encourages and accepts personal feedback
• Ability to translate business goals into user stories to help break a project down into small deliverables for iterative review

Nice to Haves:

• VB6 and COM component experience.
• NET MVC Web Experience
• Working knowledge of .NET and database development using SQL Server
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence platforms
• Familiarity with best practices for DevOps
• Experience with techniques for unit test, such as mocks and fakes
• Commitment to Test-driven Development, continuous integration, and test automation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Desire to explore new technologies
