Job Description
Job Overview:

As a Digital Product Manager within the Digital Banking and Emerging Technologies team reporting to the VP Digital Product Management, you’ll play a key role in helping Dollar Bank extend the reach of its values and customer-first philosophy to the digital channel through the delivery of enhanced mobile and online capabilities. As we pursue our ambitious new digital agenda, you’ll help us build the right things by synthesizing an understanding of business objectives, customer needs, competitive and industry factors, and delivery capacity to assemble a roadmap for several key solution areas within the channel. You’ll also help us build the things right by defining our view of excellence within the channel and directing delivery teams and partners toward that end throughout the entire product life cycle.

Principal Activities and Duties:

  • Develop and manage a roadmap of planned enhancements for multiple solution areas within the digital channel, informed by business objectives, industry trends, and customer feedback.
  • Evangelize the potential for the digital channel, help business partners across the enterprise see the way technology can be applied to solve business goals, earn consensus on planned improvements, demonstrate the results of updates.
  • Prioritize enhancements based on customer value, feasibility, and opportunity costs.
  • Analyze and interpret on usage data of digital platforms to identify shifts and their root cause. Validate anticipated post-launch outcomes against observable user behavior.
  • Keep current on industry trends in the digital space and prepare detailed competitive and market analysis.
  • Partner with UX to determine and apply the best user experience patterns to Dollar Bank solutions.
  • Develop specific recommendations on how to drive customer engagement, sales conversion, satisfaction, and other KPI.
  • Manage relevant vendor relationships behind our digital solutions, advocate for needed enhancements, support continual improvement of third-party services.
  • Be a strong adherent of and contributor to the emerging digital product management discipline at Dollar Bank.
  • Participate in enterprise planning exercises and contribute to business case development.
  • Author high-level product requirements based on business and user needs. Create and maintain product requirements documentation for digital initiatives. Possess strong knowledge of the digital platforms, including the features and functionality across mobile and online capabilities.
  • Play a key role in the planning, testing, and implementation of digital enhancements and updates working with digital product, development, and QA teams.
  • Be involved in development projects to ensure system enhancements follow the product requirements and meet or exceed user and stakeholder expectations. Perform user acceptance testing.
  • Function as the liaison between marketing, customer service, operations, and others throughout the digital product and project cycles. Partner to coordinate launch plans with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with enterprise risk management, legal, compliance, and audit as required to gain approvals, represent new risk impacts, determine any needed compensating controls, etc. for new enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of digital product management required with a preference for candidates with varied experience across the digital product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue in digital channels (marketing, eCommerce, online customer experience)
  • Understanding of mobile apps and responsive web, including iOS and Android differences, P2P payments, mobile RDC and notifications.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to synthesize data and draw conclusions.
  • Creative problem solving skills with an understanding of utilizing electronic delivery channels to meet business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple initiatives at the same time including complex projects.
  • Ability to discuss technical development with internal teams and vendors.
  • Experience with documenting requirements for digital products, features, services.
  • Experience with product management and project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
