Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team and assist in developing and maintaining our data analysis systems. As a Data Scientist at EEC Irrigation, you will be responsible for analyzing vast amounts of data and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. Responsibilities:

- Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical tools and techniques to identify patterns, trends, and insights

- Develop predictive models to forecast sales, customer behavior, and other business metrics

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights

- Design and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and data visualization dashboards

- Cleanse, process, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability

- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of data science and apply them to improve processes and systems within the company

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

- 3 years of professional experience in a data science or analytics role

- Strong background in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL

- Experience in working with large datasets and data visualization tools

- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Experience in the agriculture or irrigation industry is a plus
