Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.

The candidate will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business teams to build reliable data solutions, integrate data from multiple sources, optimize data workflows, and ensure data quality and availability for reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.

• Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, big data, or a related role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.

• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.

• Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with Apache Spark or other distributed data processing technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Understanding of data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and batch processing.

• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

• Knowledge of data quality, validation, monitoring, and error handling.

• Experience with Git, version control, and software development best practices.

• Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
