Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, cloud platforms, and data warehousing technologies.

The candidate will collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, software engineers, and business teams to build reliable data infrastructure, integrate data from multiple sources, improve data quality, and support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, database development, or a related role.

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.

• Hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL queries, joins, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.

• Familiarity with Apache Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, or Databricks.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or AWS Glue.

• Understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, and Avro.

• Knowledge of Git, version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
