Data Engineer

A Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that collect, process, transform, and store large volumes of data. The role ensures that reliable, high-quality data is available for analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Proficiency in Python or Java/Scala.
• Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of tools such as Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Data Factory is preferred.
• Understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
