Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable and scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
The Data Engineer will work with large datasets, build ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data processing workflows, and ensure that data is accurate, secure, and readily available for analytics and business intelligence. The role involves close collaboration with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Hands-on experience with Spark/PySpark is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Airflow, Databricks, Kafka, or Snowflake is an advantage.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of data security, data quality, and governance.
- Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize data-processing performance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
