Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect organizational systems, networks, applications, and sensitive data from security threats. The ideal candidate should have experience with security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, threat detection, incident response, firewalls, and security tools. The candidate will work with IT, networking, and cloud teams to identify security risks, implement protective measures, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with security standards.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.

• 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and security fundamentals.

• Experience with vulnerability assessment, security monitoring, and threat analysis.

• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and access control.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.

• Understanding of incident response, digital forensics fundamentals, and security investigations.

• Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), authentication, and authorization.

• Familiarity with cloud security across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred.

• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
