Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect organizational systems, networks, applications, and sensitive data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint protection, and security technologies.

The candidate will collaborate with IT, network, cloud, and compliance teams to identify security risks, implement protective measures, investigate incidents, and maintain a secure technology environment.

• Master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and common cybersecurity threats.

• Hands-on experience with security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.

• Knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.

• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and remediation processes.

• Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection, and network security controls.

• Knowledge of identity and access management, MFA, RBAC, and access control policies.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux security administration.

• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

• Familiarity with cloud security concepts and security services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash are preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
