Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect organizational systems, networks, applications, and sensitive data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate should have experience in security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, security tools, and risk assessment.

The candidate will collaborate with IT, network, cloud, and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, investigate security incidents, implement security controls, and maintain a strong security posture.

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical role.

• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.

• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7 InsightVM.

• Knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools such as CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender.

• Understanding of IAM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, SSO, and access control.

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred.

• Understanding of cloud security concepts and security monitoring.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
