Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to protect organizational systems, networks, applications, and sensitive data from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have experience with security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, identity and access management, and security tools.

The candidate will work with IT, network, cloud, and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, investigate security incidents, implement security controls, and maintain a strong security posture.

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical role.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and routing.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7 InsightVM.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne.
• Understanding of IAM, Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, SSO, and access control.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, or Bash is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts and security monitoring is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
