Job Description
Azure Jr. Data Engineer- JD
- Good hands on knowledge on data capture, curation and consumption pipelines on Azure
- Ability to build Azure data solutions, provide technical perspective and working knowledge on Storage, Azure SQL DB, Data Lake Services, Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse
- Exposure to Azure security is added advantage
- Experience in conducting technical discovery, identifying pain points, business and technical requirements, “as is” and “to be” scenarios would be added advantage
- Knowledge on PaaS (Platform as-a-service), IaaS (Infrastructure as-a-service), SaaS (Software as-a-service) architecture would be preferred
- Knowledge on Azure big data platform services, serverless architectures would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge on Dimensional modelling techniques
- Basic Data analysis and SQL querying skills is preferred
- Understanding of generic ETL approaches and designs would be preferred
- Basic reporting skills especially Power BI would be an added advantage
- Good communication skills to work effectively with the client and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently on the project with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
