The Dispatcher/ Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation solutions for the used car inventory for Bill Luke Auto Group. The individual will efficiently monitor all incoming and outgoing freight, they are to ensure that all vehicles get transported in a timely manner.

He/She will work closely with the team coordinating shipping vehicles to and from dealerships, locally and nationally as well as organizing auction runs. Bewilling to follow up with phone calls and email is imperative. We are looking for someone that is reliable, punctual, professional, and able to follow directions well.

Must be able to work with a sense of urgency. This is a critical department to all of the Bill Luke Dealerships and an intense working environment.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 salary per year DOE.

Full time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm may have some Saturday requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrange transportation for all incoming and outgoing inventory
• Follow up with transporters to confirm vehicles are on track for pick up/drop
• Respond to quote inquiries and all transport related matters
• Initiate and monitor all transport damage claims
• Continually review freight cost to keep cost down
• Streamline transportation processes

. Organize Bill of Ladings, work with Accounting on carrier payment

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Highly organized and able to multitask
• Must have at least a high school diploma, higher education is a plus
• Auto Dispatch experience is required
• Previous vehicle transport experience preferred
• Willingness to take initiative
• May have to walk or stand for long periods of time and some work outdoors year round
• Computer literate ( Ignite, Rapid Recon,vAuto experience is a plus)
• Detail Orientated
• Ability to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines easily
• Professional appearance
• Must be punctual
• Being proactive in your job responsibilities, career, business growth and daily development
• Team player
• Must be 18 or over with at least 3 years driving experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test
