Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Stock Plan Administrator to assist in managing the day-to-day administration of our equity programs. Equity awards are a significant component of the total compensation package at Micron. In this role, you will work closely with many functional areas across the company ensuring compliance, including Payroll, Legal, Finance, and HR functions.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all types of equity plans including Stock Options, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Performance awards
  • Understand cross-functional impact and considerations (accounting, securities law, tax, payroll, administration) for equity programs
  • Reconcile and support grant, exercise and releases, termination and cancellation activity to ensure plan compliance and accurate financial reporting related to equity compensation matters
  • Assist with daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including year-end proxy reporting
  • Assist Sr. Manager of Stock Administration with preparation of Quarterly SOX reports
  • Work with the Company’s stock administration vendors, including daily interaction when handling day-to-day account openings, exercise and release activities, and monitoring service
  • Answer employee inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding stock awards and provide great customer service
  • Create and implement process improvements and support automation initiatives between equity, payroll and stock plan administrator
  • Partner with legal on management of employee trading plans and open trading windows
  • Partner with human resources on management of grants for new hires and merit grants
  • Ad hoc equity and tax research and issue resolution
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or related field is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in equity administration or equivalent specific related field at a publicly traded company
  • Strong understanding of company stock ownership and the full cycle of equity transactions
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Project management, process improvement and a proven track record of working effectively with people at all levels across a large organization
  • The ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation
  • CEP level III designation strongly preferred as well as experience with Morgan Stanley Shareworks
Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel skills
