About the position:
Optimism Online is Simon Sinek s digital company. We create and curate live online classes, on demand courses, B2B experiences, podcasts and live stream events all designed to help advance our Just Cause. We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our team.

Full time position: Social Media and Marketing Manager
Location: fully remote. US only
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (Eastern Standard Time) with flexibility
Salary: based on experience, plus benefits
Contribution to tech needs: $1,020 per year

Administer and manage all social media channels and build out social media content calendar
Manage editing, approval, and scheduling of all posts for all platforms
Create and curate all social and digital marketing content including text/copy, graphics, videos, and emails
Design and implement platform-specific digital marketing strategies that align with overall company goals (conversions, awareness, sales, etc.)
Design and implement campaigns of varying scope on social channels (product launches, classes, rebrands, giveaways, etc.)
Measure, test and report on social strategies and campaigns using KPIs and tools like Google Analytics
Ensure all social and digital marketing content is in line with our brand voice, values and overall aesthetic
Work and plan alongside a paid media specialist to ensure all paid campaigns are aligned with our overall social and marketing strategy
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
Ok, now s the part where it s about you. Do you have or are you
2-5 years of social media and/or marketing experience
The ability to jump from the creative side to the analytical side
Basic knowledge of graphic design
Excellent time-management and communication skills
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
Excellent copywriting and presentation skills
Proficient in and/or certified in Google Analytics,, Sprout Social, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Adobe Suite
Confident in social media analytics and reporting
Innovative and a smart risk taker
Creative and have a great understanding of social media
A team player with the confidence to take the lead
Critical thinker and problem-solver
A sense of humor, don't take yourself too seriously and are up for a challenge!
