Regular shift for this department is Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Be able to read, speak, and understand English.

2. Must possess High School diploma or equivalent.

3. Be able to work and communicate well with others.

4. Be able to work independently following instructions received from supervisor or team leader.

5. Must provide copy of current DMV driving record upon acceptance of position and periodically as required by department.

6. Be able to train and certify to drive non-CDL vehicle with hazmat.

7. Must complete Forklift Training and receive certification.

8. Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information.

9. Be able and willing to provide own transportation to storage areas including New River Dublin Facility when needed (mileage reimbursement is provided).

10. Experience and skills in Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel.

11. Possess basic math skills.

12. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.

13. Must be willing to go to explosive and inert storage areas to perform work duties.

14. Must load and unload shipments.

15. Stay up- to-date on all DOT regulations involving handling of hazardous materials, incoming/outgoing shipments.

16. Must learn ATF regulations and stay refreshed and knowledgeable on the regulations for Fireworks recordkeeping and storage.

17. Must learn DoD regulations for all storage requirements.

18. Prior experience in warehousing / inventory is required.

19. Be able to work all overtime as required. Late evening, weekend and last minute overtime can be expected during and immediately following Fireworks season, but is not limited to the time period of May through August.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Must be committed to ISO and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk based methodologies.

2. Shares in accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

3. Performs daily and weekly inspections on non-CDL company vehicles assigned to the department.

4. Performs inspection on transportation equipment.

5. Performs inspection on other company vehicles when used from other departments.

6. Assist in maintenance of all inventory stored at PbG’s facility, including daily transactions and appropriate shipment and receiving paperwork.

7. Responsible for completing all paperwork required for transactions performed daily and ensuring paperwork is complete and accurate and submitted on a daily basis.

8. Assist with receiving and verifying incoming material.

9. Responsible for ensuring all incoming material is transferred to the appropriate storage locations.

10. Performs unloading of container shipments, verification and ensure proper storage

11. Assist Transportation & Shipping Supervisor with all outgoing shipments as directed by supervisor.

12. Ensure all energetic products stored in Magazines are in compliance with procedures and regulations.

13. Perform cycle and physical inventories of all storage areas located at the plant and in Magazines.

14. Participate in training for ERP system.

15. Responsible to use barcode scanners and learn all movement functions of the ERP system.

16. Responsible for pulling fireworks displays and all required paperwork assigned by supervisor.

17. Responsible for submitting display paperwork to Inventory Systems Supervisor as assigned by supervisor.

18. Responsible for verifying paperwork is completed correctly prior to distributing, submitting or filing.

19. Responsible for ensuring all associated paperwork completed by the production departments are complete and accurate prior to removing any product from the department.

20. Responsible for transferring product in and out of the production bays and ensuring trucks are available for transfers at the bays.

21. Distributes inert and energetic materials to the production areas upon request in a timely manner to ensure production flow is not interrupted.

22. Ensures all production materials are requested with appropriate required paperwork prior to moving materials to the production areas or returning to the storage areas.

23. Performs clearing of dry houses and rest houses for PM's as assigned by supervisor.

24. Responsible for loading equipment trucks by referring to FbG’s Packing List, pulling equipment from stock and preparing for loading and shipment per DOT regulations as assigned by supervisor.

25. Responsible for transferring equipment shipped from FbG to the appropriate trucks for shipment by referring to FbG’s Packing Lists assigned by supervisor.

26. Performs inventories on the FbG inventory of equipment and updates inventory records when equipment is shipped or received and assist in the Tool Watch program for FbG as assigned by supervisor.

27. Maintains storage of FbG equipment in available storage areas for easy access as assigned by supervisor.

28. Transports samples and materials to support QA Department in scheduled LAT's directed by supervisor.

29. Performs Fireworks Finished Product inspections on fireworks shipping containers, completes and distributes appropriate paperwork as assigned by supervisor.

30. May go on loan to assist with performing testing and evaluation for Fireworks Finished Product as assigned by supervisor.

31. Keeps all Explosive Storage Magazines organized and storage of product in the most efficient manner for removal of shows, this includes consolidating product and transferring items as needed.

32. Assist in filing and maintaining all department paperwork as assigned by supervisor.

33. Assist and be present during ATF, BAE, DoD, DCMA and ISO audits. Includes accompanying auditors to all storage areas during inspections and audits.

34. Has option to complete training as a certified Fireworks by Grucci Pyrotechnician for fireworks displays.

35. Obey all company work and safety rules.

36. Participates in on-going training as directed by the supervisor.

37. Perform all other duties as required by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be able to lift 45 - 65 lbs. on an occasional basis without assistance.

2. Must be able to lift in excess of 65 lbs. on an occasional basis with assistance (using pallet jacks and hand trucks).

3. Must be able to sit, stand, bend or move throughout work area for 8 to 12 hours per shift.

Performance review after 90 days and again at 6 months. 6 month and annual performance reviews for increase in wages, based on performance.

Must be at least 18 years of age. ATF regulations prohibit the hiring of anyone with a felony conviction. Background checks and pre-employment drug screens must be conducted prior to start date. Company adheres to the Fair Credit Reporting Act guidelines.

Reliable transportation is a requirement. Job is located within the limited access area of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Only badged individuals and registered vehicles are allowed inside this area.

If accepted for employment, badging process requires proof of United States citizenship (original or certified copy of birth certificate OR valid US Passport AND valid photo ID). If accepted for employment vehicles must be registered to enter work area. This requires proof of insurance, current inspection and registration. Each vehicle must also have a fire extinguisher (rated 5BC)
