Senior Software Engineer

CVS Healthcare is looking for hands-on, passionate,

can be in the digital world. The Senior Software Engineer will:

• Work with Product and UX teams to be part of a team of engineers in developing elegant code and state-of-the-art responsive customer experiences.

• Validate the technical feasibility of these requirements and develop proof of concepts and demonstrate with business teams for validation.

• Analyze non-functional requirements in the areas of performance, availability, scalability and extensibility.

• Analyze the existing architectures, identify the bottle necks in the areas of performance, extensibility and then provide cost effective solutions to remediate the same.

• Deliver high and low-level architecture documentation based on Oracle ATG Commerce Platform.

• Developing web application using ATG e-commerce and web-based enterprise applications using J2EE technologies like JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI, RMI and JMS.

• Developing REST and SOAP web services for enterprise applications.

• Designing web pages using HTML, CSS, Java Script and jQuery.

• Providing technical design and estimation for the business requirements.

• Using tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.

• Configuring Akamai redirection rules based on client requirements.

• Implement value add functionalities of new products quickly and efficiently.

• Use test driven development and behavior driven development to build out required software test scripts that meets standards and improve maintainability of robust software.

• Perform code review and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.

• Verify expected system behavior after deployments to QA environment.

• Provide production support for ongoing issues.

• Supports application during warranty period.

• Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features,

service, platform issues and perform root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of functional experience of demonstrated excellence in an information systems environment
• 3+ years of hands-on digital/e-commerce experience in ATG e-commerce and web-based enterprise applications using J2EE technologies like JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI, RMI and JMS, HTML, CSS and jQuery
• ATG experience is required
• Functional knowledge and experience of healthcare and retail pharmacy is required
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins
• Experience with XML/JSON and developing REST Services
• Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problem
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agile development required, SAFe Agile experienced preferred
• Experience with a proven track record of working with large or multiple teams comprising of FTEs and contractors
• Experience in web security

• Experience working with distributed systems•

Education
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
