SAP Technical Leader

Overview: LIXIL Americas is looking for a candidate to support SAP technical applications. This individual will be responsible for maximizing SAP utilization by providing technical expertise in ABAP, SAP PI/PO , SAP BW , HANA and system integrations using web services, BAPI, EDI, ALE, IDOC’s .etc . Interact with functional teams and business users, writing ABAP programs and preparing appropriate documentation of technical projects. Oversee mission-critical daily, monthly and quarterly batch jobs & process chains supporting the supply chain, production planning, sales operations and financial application business processes.Responsibilities:

• Proven in-depth understanding of technical architecture and design of SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA systems
• Working knowledge of business user expectations along with hands-on working on ABAP on HANA , SAP HANA Studio, and good to know SAP WebIDE
• Knowledge of UI5 and Fiori App design and development is extremely preferable
• Experience in integrating SAP to external systems and knowledge in various integration technologies are mandatory.
• Proven experience in SAP HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture and related SAP products and underlying database technologies
• Experience with CDS views including searching navigating through standard CDS views, execution analysis of views, creating custom CDS views, usage of annotations, joins, associations, parameters,
• Working knowledge in SAP ABAP Development, Gateway services/ OData Services
• Ability to acquire new technical skillsets in analysis, design, code and testing within emerging ERP/SAP technologies
• Handle day to day production support related to all ABAP developments and EDI/IDOC’s transactions.
• Provide coaching and support to the offshore development team with functional and technical queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient knowledge within SAP OTC, RTR, STP, MTE , FTP work streams
• Proven experience in performance tuning of all SAP objects
• Ability to translate the business requirements technical requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to deadlines
• Exposure to data migration tools and techniques.
• Must have agile methodology experience (SCRUM and/or Kanban).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 10+ years of related experience with SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4 HANA ERP systems or other related systems experience.
• Must have four full lifecycles SAP implementation experience
• S4 HANA certification and implementation experience is preferred
• Must be results-oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
• Ability to provide off-hours support as the job requires
